C2710 was constructed by Schweizerische Lokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik (SLM) (2584/1916), others were built by Werkspoor and Armstrong Whitworth. It was originally Staats Spoorwegen 1110. This 4-6-4T had two outside cylinders 450 x 550 mm with driving wheel diameter of 1350 mm. Boiler pressure was 12.0 kg/cm2, grate area 1.9 m2 with a heating surface of 99.9 m2 and a superheater surface of 30.8 m2. Overall weight was 66.0 tons with 33.3 tons available for adhesion. C2710 is preserved at Taman Mini near Jakarta. In the 1970s these locomotives were found widely dispersed especially in East and West Java.
