C2407 was constructed by Werkspoor (216/1908). It was originally Nederlands Indische Spoorweg Mij 277. This 2-6-2T had two outside cylinders 400 x 500 mm with driving wheel diameter of 1050 mm. Boiler pressure was 12.7 kg/cm2, grate area 1.8 m2 with a heating surface of 61.8 m2 and a superheater surface of 14.7 m2. Overall weight was 42.5 tons with 27.5 tons available for adhesion. C2407 is preserved at the Ambarawa Railway Museum. Mainly based in the Yogyakarta area into the 1970s, some were dispersed near the end of steam to other places in Central Java such as Purworkerto.
